Aktivität: VortragVortrag auf sonstiger Veranstaltung (Science-to-Professionals/Public)

Beschreibung

# it is possible: Intellectual limitations are no ultimate obstacle to standardized questioning
# you need to reduce: In order to develop an accessible tool, conventional quality of life questionnaires for people with learning difficulties would definitely have to be strongly adapted and simplified.
# do not distort meaning: simplifications should not change the meaning of a question
# keep it short: long interviews are to be avoided
# use plain language: plain language formulation is an important first step
# use pictures and pictograms
# stay close to the life of people with disabilities
# paid work questions are difficult
# do not include other persons: Third parties (e.g. carers) are distorting and reassuring rather interviewers.
# good interviewer training is essential
# peer surveys facilitate access to the target group.
- minimum requirement: the ability to present a standardized questionnaire.
- devaluing behavior of the person surveyed is possible “Peter is too stupid for this survey”.
