Beschreibung
In this paper, we examine how organizational career scripts - the interpretive schemas, resources and norms that structure people's career within an organization (Barley, 1989: 53) - are produced and reproduced through people's everyday practices in the workplace. This notion has found particular resonance among career scholars who sought to conceptualize how individual career narratives are infused with and responding to organizational career scripts (Arthur, Inkson and Pringle, 1999; Duberley, Cohen and Mallon, 2006a; Cappellen and Janssens, 2010). Notwithstanding, the application of this construct in careers literature has also diverted from Barley's (1989) original conception.Zeitraum | 7 Juli 2011 → 9 Juli 2011 |
