Beschreibung

This project explores the complexity of activities with field configuring potential that are organized as events. Counter the literature we show that events are not only singular or recurrent and monolithic, such as conferences. Rather, our findings suggest that a series of events, which are temporally connected in a string of events. In addition, we show that events are tied into multi-level strings between macro and meso-levels. The multi-level string of events allows for better adaptability and transferability of novel practices. Finally, we introduce the publication of texts as types of events with field configuring potential.
