Projektdetails

Beschreibung

The objective of this research is to assess the impact of the Changemaker Marketday Program at WU Vienna on students' entrepreneurial mindset, competencies, and intentions. Specifically, the project aims to:
1.) Examine the extent to which participation in the Changemaker Program influences students' attitudes towards entrepreneurship, their entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and their willingness to engage in entrepreneurial activities.
2.) Assess the effectiveness of the program in developing essential entrepreneurial competencies such as creativity, opportunity recognition, problem-solving, and teamwork.
3.) Investigate the role of the Changemaker Program in fostering a sense of social responsibility and the potential for creating socially conscious entrepreneurs who are driven to make a positive impact on society.
4.) Explore the experiences and perceptions of students who have participated in the Changemaker Program, including their satisfaction with the program, the perceived value of the acquired knowledge and skills, and their intentions for future entrepreneurial endeavors.
These goals will be pursued as a field experiment, investigating the Changemaker program and its impact in the natural setting as it occurs. A pre/post test is planned with multiple temporal dimensions: (1) preprogram analysis, (2) immediate effects after the program, (3) short-term effects three months post program (4) medium-term effects half a year after program completion and lastly (5) long-term effects. This will be done both within and between subject, utilizing a randomized control group.
