Beschreibung
The objective of this WU project is to develop and test a pilot model that allows assessing the global deforestation impacts of mining driven by European demand for metals and coal. This will be achieved by linking satellite-based global data sets on mining areas and land cover change to the global multi-regional input-output model GLORIA.
