Abstract
Convened by the European Partners against Corruption (EPAC) and the European contact-point network against corruption (EACN), the workshop took place in Vienna at the premises of BAK. With the participation of 25 individuals and five experts from 12 countries, representing 19 anti-corruption agencies and police oversight bodies, the event spanned a day and a half, fostering robust discussion, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.
The workshop served as a link for experts and practitioners from EPAC/EACN member organizations, addressing the challenges and dynamics of operating internal and external reporting offices. It underscored the indispensable role of whistleblowing in combatting corruption and advancing transparency. The core elements and discoveries of the workshop are summarised and presented in the report.
