Global Corporate Volunteering as HR instrument. Assignment Logics and Personnel Management Tasks

Demonstrating that Global Corporate Volunteering (GCV) as a HR instrument can arise from 4 different logics this article shows that each entail different advantages and consequences. It argues that GCV, to deserve that name, should be linked to a HR strategy (and therefore to a business strategy). Furthermore, personnel management tasks accompanying GCV are discussed.
