Abstract
This case study discusses the further penetration of the US market by the Austrian "hidden champion" Securikett. Securikett is a leading Austrian company in the field of product and brand protection. They offer a one-stop shop for both physical and digital product security. So far the business model for the US market is based on a direct export to customers from Austria. Now the founders consider a strengthening of the presence by using a national distributor, establishing a sales subsidiary or forming a joint venture with a local competitor.
