Abstract

After introducing the base curriculum of the Vienna University of Economics and Business-Administration and explaining how the Department of Management Information Systems fits into it, the curriculum for the course "Information Systems Development with CASE" is presented in detail. lt concentrates on the worksbop curriculum as it is this course in which the students are taugbt the methods and the skills needed to successfully work with ORACLE*CASE in order to develop information systems. The most important experiences and conclusions drawn from this project should help others who are in the process of planning similar courses.
