Description
On 19 September, the national I-CCC (innovative community care centres) final conference took place at Künstlerhaus, in Vienna. Together we identified and discussed innovative ways of providing support to older people and their informal carers close to their homes. After almost three years of project duration, we discussed important findings from practice (RC) and offered detailed insights into the evaluation design and project results (WU Vienna), followed by a guest lecture by Paulina Wosko (GÖG) on the potentials of extra-familial support networks. The concluding panel discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities in supporting people with care needs and their informal carers.
