Does the Provision of Information about Popular Choices Improve Coordination and Cooperation in Situations Involving Multiple Threshold Public Goods (MTPG) ?

Activity: Talk or presentationScience to science

Description

Digital platforms play a central role in
coordinating decisions that involve
multiple people (GoFundMe or European
Citizens' Initiatives). These projects offer
benefits to many, including those who did
not actively participate. However, the high
number of initiatives can make effective
coordination challenging. SImultaneously,
people are exposed to information about
the choices others have made in similar
situations, which can influence decisionmaking.
To boost support for these
initiatives, it is crucial to find ways to
enhance coordination.
