During his research visit, Giovanni Valentini presented a talk titled "Mors Tua, Vita Mea? The Effect of Broker Removal on Firm Innovation." The talk examined how the sudden removal of broker inventors impacts firm innovation. Giovanni’s research highlighted that while brokers often serve their own interests, their removal can lead to increased collaboration within organizations, resulting in the creation of more and better innovations. The presentation offered valuable insights into the role of intrafirm networks in fostering innovation.
After the talk, Giovanni met individually with members of the HiA team to provide feedback and discuss ongoing research projects, offering helpful perspectives to support their work.
