The Association for the Promotion of Digital Humanism aims to advance human-centered digital technology development—focused on fundamental rights, freedoms, democracy, and self-determination—through interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary basic and applied research, as well as by promoting innovation, education, and effective communication. The association critically monitors current developments in digitalization and provides a platform for intensive discourse on Digital Humanism. The association is based in Vienna, which, with the Vienna Manifesto for Digital Humanism, has set an important milestone and the starting point for an international intellectual movement.
