Short biography

Bernadette Hofer-Bonfim has a background in Romance Languages (B.A.) and Social and Cultural Anthropology (B.A.) and holds a M.A. (2018) in Language and Communication Studies from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Currently, she works as a teaching and research associate at the Institute for Romance Languages at the Vienna University of Business and Economics. Her interests include language-comparative research on cross-cultural aspects in corporate communication, particularly in non-financial disclosure. In her ongoing PhD project, she investigates multimodal communication on Diversity & Inclusion in the banking sector.
