Dr. Dionisi Nikolov, M.A.

Dr. Dionisi Nikolov is Director of the Competence Center for Emerging Markets & Central and Eastern Europe at WU Vienna (Vienna University of Economics and Business). In this role, he is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the center, overseeing its teaching and research programs. He coordinates collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and leads the center’s international partnerships, networks, and dissemination activities. Dr. Nikolov holds a doctoral degree in Linguistics and Corporate Communication from TU Dresden, as well as a master’s degree in Slavic Studies and Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt. He has been affiliated with WU Vienna since 2009. His research interests include business communication, language and culture in Eastern Europe, and intercultural management in emerging markets.
