Short biography

Dipl.-Vw. Dr. Hans-Joachim Schramm is Senior Lecturer (post doc) at WU Wirtschafts­universität Wien – Vienna University of Economics and Business and external lecturer at Copenhagen Business School (CBS). He holds a diploma degree in economics from Humboldt-University at Berlin and a doctoral degree from Dresden University of Technology. Being a forwarding agent by profession and secretary general of Internationaler Verband der Tarifeure (IVT) - Organisation of Tariff and Transport Experts (http://www.int-int.org), main focus of his research and teaching activity is about international transport and logistics management (including trade facilitation, customs and foreign trade management), controlling in logistics and transportation companies as well as economics and policy issues in sea, air, rail and road transport markets. So far, he authored several papers and monographs, contributed to peer-review processes at IJLM, IJPDLM, IJPR, JBL, JTRG, JTRP, LR, MPM, RCR, sustainability, TJ, JTRP, TTRV, AOM, EUROMA, HICCS, NOFOMA, is member of the Editorial Advisory Board at IJLM and member of the Editorial Board at MEL. Furthermore, he was visiting lecturer at universities in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Sweden, China and Cuba.
