Short biography
Professor for Economic and Social History at WU since 2015. Before at Universidad Carlos III Madrid (2010-2015), University of Copenhagen (2009-2010) and University of Münster (2004-2009). Visiting Professor at University of Gothenburg 2024-2027. 2021-2023 President of the European Historical Economics Society. CEPR Research Fellow since 2018. Responsible for "Economy - Environment - Politics" in WU's Business, Economics and Social Sciences Bachelor program since 2023. In 2024 & 2025 Head of the Department of Socioeconomics.
