PhD collegiate in the interdisciplinary Doctoral Program in International Business Taxation (DIBT) (core discipline: law) at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (WU) (Vienna University of Economics and Business) since September 2021. Currently hold the position of Research and Teaching Associate in WU’s Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law. Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner® with an Advanced LL.M. in International Tax Law from Leiden University, The Netherlands. Almost six years of full-time corporate work experience obtained at Deloitte (in South Africa and the USA) and Stonehage Fleming, an international family office firm. In addition, more than three years of experience obtained working in academia (in South Africa and Austria) including as the Program Head of the Master’s degree program in Taxation at Stellenbosch University.
