Eco-efficiency and sustainability

The aim of this research project is to prepare a modeling framework for integrated sustainability analysis on disaggregated level taking into account the links between the stock-flow relationships. Input-output models promise to be useful tools for policy makers to connect economic, social and environmental policy and serve as reference in this project.

1. In the first part of the project an input-output model for measuring of the eco-efficiency and operationalization of the Sustainability of the Austrian economy will be developed.

• The second part deals with the analysis of stock-flow relationships in the Austrian economy.

• In the last part of the project the question of integrating of the stock-flow relationships in macroeconomic models should be discussed.
