Description

With the upcoming Apple glasses, Mixed Reality technologies provide fascinating opportunities for innovative and immersive services for end-users in diverse domains like healthcare, training and education, and entertainment. However, these services will be based on huge amounts of sensitive, personal data. Currently, there are no mechanisms and general principles available which empower users to effectively take control of their sensitive information without having to opt out of the associated services.
The CHAnGE project (Computational Humanistic Analytics in diGital Environments) will develop a human-centered data analytics layer, which (i) provides observable behavioral and physiological features and associated interpretations of human state, while (ii) realizing a truly GDPR-compliant solution, empowering users to be in control of their data (data access control, consent giving, etc.)
The CHAnGE project will substantially advance the MR industry via (i) enabling developers to build on the functionalities and interfaces of the analytics layer and (ii) overcome the barrier of trust towards data usage between companies and users.
