CRANET is an established group of more than 30 business schools and academic institutions, all collaborating since 1989 to provide information on in public and private companies. The main goal of this porject is the identification of current standards as well as trends in human resource management practices across the world. At this point after 6 survey rounds data from about 30.000 companies with more than 200 employees in 34 countries is available. With this data base CRANET provides a coherent and accurate picture of international and comparative HRM and is now an established and unique resource for policy makers, academic researchers, or organisations seeking an up-to-date overview of the ever-changing face of management across the globe.
