Description
The demographic changes towards ageing society pose a challenge not only for Austria but also for other European countries. Due to the increased proportion of elderly people the structure of the labor force and of unemployed people is in transition. The development partnership AGE-Powerment aims at developing new perspectives, plans for further discussions and methods of resolutions in order to encourage elderly people to stay and to reintegrate them in the working process and move away from the prevailing deficit model. Therefore age- and gender-sensitive instruments are to be developed, proved and disseminated by means of new concepts and a new phase of life and work model.
