    Description

The dynamics of poverty and social exclusion have been in the centre of a comparative research project, financed in part by the TSER programme of the European Commission. The six participating partner institutions analysed in how far different risk groups (i.e., young adults, retired adults, sick and disabled adults, and lone mothers) have been effected by poverty and social exclusion, both in a cross-sectional and a dynamic perspective, and examined the influences of public policy in five European countries in alleviating the risks assosicated with these population groups.
