Description
This project was initially a co-operation between IEEE and several IEEE volunteers. It addresses the challenge that an interdisciplinary educational profile and professional quality of people is needed in companies’ innovation and IT departments once these companies aim to create ethical AI and IS that is not only in line with the law, but in the spirit of law. Especially when bringing new standards to companies that ensure i.e. AI Act compliance a new professional profile of people is needed. What this profile could look like and building a professional alliance between science and practice is pursued in this project. WU’s Institute for IS & Society co-operates with IEEE and reaches out to other European institutions to now build up a recognized job profile for ethical IS & AI professionals.
