The Knowledgebase Copyright Law (KB:Law | ©) is part of the scientific project "Creative Access - Digital Archives between Open Knowledge Society and Commodification in Vienna" funded by the Wiener Wissenschafts-, Forschungs-, und Technologiefond (WWTF).
The aim of KB©Law is to create a database which is open to the public.
Cultural, economical and legal issues of digital archives and there role in providing content will be analysed within the project. The Democracy Center in Vienna is acting as project coordinator.
The team of researchers is made up by members of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The database is meant to answer copyright-related questions of both laymen and experts by starting from FAQs (frequently asked questions). In addition legal issues will be analysed from the views of different legal systems and their according laws.
