    Description

    Vienna was a centre of cultural industries (CI) of world wide reputation around 1900 and today the CI belong to the most dynamic sectors of the local economy. The project is the first study using the CI approach regarding paths of development through the entire 20th century. Using methods of economic and historical sciences the research concentrates on the long run development of the CI in Vienna, the role of human capital and the employment dynamics of CI.
