Patient and Health Professional Mobility: Implications for the city of Vienna

In the recent past, there is increasing recognition of cross-border mobility in the health care sector. In Austria, and in Vienna in particular, the Eastern EU enlargement has created new perspectives and challenges in that sector. This project will study economic and social policy implications of increasing cross-broder mobility in health care. The focus will be on patient mobility and on nurse mobility, in particular in the capital city of Vienna, the largest health care cluster in Austria.
