Abstract
Numerous journal rankings exist in the field of Technology/Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (TIE). In light of the growing importance of such rankings for the evaluation of research endeavors, the question arises as to which ranking constitutes the most appropriate scale. We suggest aggregating the individual rankings, thereby following the rationale of meta-analysis. In this article, we provide a detailed description of each step in the development of such a journal meta-ranking in the field of Technology/Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship . The resulting ranking is finally calibrated to the ranking of Hennig-Thurau, Walsh, and Schrader (2004).
