Abstract

The air freshener has a housing (6) with a receiving space (2), in which a replaceable container (1) filled with fragrance containing liquid is provided. The receiving space is arranged above a partition wall (10) of the housing. A ventilator (3) is provided for producing air flow that carries fragrance from the housing. An electronically controllable valve is assigned to an outlet of the container, where the valve is controlled by a programmable logic controller (7). A body (4) is provided under the container, where the body is coated by the air flow produced by the ventilator.
