Abstract

Human-centricity and digital sustainability have become pivotal dimensions in shaping the future of information systems. While these concepts are still under active investigation and continue to evolve, their intersection, interconnections, and reciprocal influences present compelling opportunities for advancing both research and practice. A nuanced understanding of these dynamics is essential for developing comprehensive theoretical and practical frameworks to effectively realize their potential. Here, we offer a brief and focused exploration of this intersection, aiming to inspire ongoing discourse and collaborative efforts toward the co-production of human-centricity and digital sustainability.
