Abstract

This article presents an overview on EU-Tempus-Project BUSEEG. It deals with the issues of competence approach in training future entrepreneurs. It also determines the list of competencies required for the creation and responsible management of a company, and which should be taught in entrepreneurship education courses. The article examines to what extend supporting start-ups through appropriate educational programs and consulting services can contribute to creating new jobs.
